Thoughts from the Club Manager

This is a member's club, when I started playing here 4 years ago the room was full. Due to many extenuating circumstances there are some things we cannot do to improve attendance, and there are some things we CAN do.

I would encourage each and every one of us to try our best.  I can use the support and enthusiasm that each member brings to the club. During my learning period, try to be patient with me.

1. When a new or unrecognized person or pair come to your table, please introduce yourselves, make them feel welcome and if it is apparent that they are novices, try not to call the director.

2. Be kind to your opponents and your partner.

3. Try not to give unsolicited lessons.

4. There is a time clock, please adhere to it and do not move before the director calls the movement. Try not to fall behind and if so, you may have to take a late play.

5. Zero tolerance will be strictly observed and penalties will be assessed . It is difficult for the director to hear all infractions so please call the director's attention to ANY Zero Tolerance situations.

6. Let's make Adobe, the FRIENDLIEST and BEST club in Tucson.
